The Ninth Annual
Congenital Heart Defect Awareness Day
Winter Sports and Fun at the Pottle Tree Farm

Saturday, February 12, 2011 we held our Ninth Annual "Congenital Heart Defect Awareness Day "Winter Sports & Fun" at the Pottle Tree Farm in Perry Maine to increase awareness of Congenital Heart Defects and raise funds for families affected by CHD's.  It was beautiful warm day with hundreds of winter enthusiasts and supporters and an amazing snowbase.  There was sledding, skiing, snow shoeing, ice fishing and even some sledding. WCCC Adventure Recreational Center provided a trailer full of ski equipment and snow shoes--every ski was used!

Proceeds from the day were over $1,800 dollars with just as much expected to be donated in the next month or two. Thanks to the businesses and the intense work of the many volunteers.
